Gun-brandishing bill goes to Senate
Why do Democrats want you helpless?The House voted 33-26 Wednesday to allow people to draw their firearms if they feel threatened without fearing arrest.
Current law potentially subjects those who brandish a gun to
criminal charges. HB 2629 is aimed at providing some legal protections
to those who unholster a weapon in an effort to ward off someone they
believe is threatening them.
It also would permit pointing the firearm at someone else and even firing it if otherwise justified by law.
Rep. Tom Chabin, D-Flag-staff, who voted against the bill, said
the legislation is opposed by police. The measure now goes to the
Senate.
So lets see as it now stands.. You are a women walking down the street, three thugs approach you with rape on their mind. The Democrats want you helpless. "lay down and enjoy the rape" is how one Democrats said it.
But you are a smart women and have a concealed hand gun because rape is not something you will lay down for and enjoy. You also have a conceal carry permit.
As it is now if you show the attackers that you have a gun and can protect yourself you are guilty of 'brandishing" a firearm.
Your only option is to kill the attackers or "lay down and enjoy the rape".
The new law would allow you to show the gun which is called "brandishing" to defuse the situtation, preventing being raped and not have to kill someone to do it.
Why do the Democrats want you in prison for refusing to be raped?
The bigger question is why do Democrats want you helpless?
